Multiple Teeth Implants
Missing two or more teeth, side by side or in different spots? Implants can replace them with fixed teeth that don’t rely on your remaining teeth for support – and you don’t always need one implant per tooth.
Your options
| Individual implants | Implant bridge | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | One implant and crown for each missing tooth | Two or more implants supporting a bridge of joined teeth |
| Example | Two gaps in different parts of the mouth | Three teeth in a row replaced with two implants |
| Best suited to | Gaps spread around the mouth | Several missing teeth next to each other |
| Cleaning | Floss like natural teeth | Floss threader or water flosser under the bridge |
We’ll recommend an approach after your 3D scan, based on your bone, bite and budget.
Who it suits
Multiple implants may suit you if you’re missing several teeth, have a partial denture you’d like to replace with fixed teeth, or have teeth that can’t be saved. If you’re missing most of the teeth in an arch, an All-On-X full arch may be simpler.
Your treatment, step by step
- Consultation and 3D scan – we map the bone and plan where each implant goes.
- Treatment plan and quote – individual implants vs a bridge, with costs side by side.
- Implant placement – under local anaesthetic, often all implants in one visit.
- Healing – around three months. A temporary denture or bridge can usually be worn in the meantime.
- Final teeth – crowns or bridge made from a digital scan, fitted and bite-checked.
Cost
Cost depends on the number of implants and teeth. As a guide, each implant with its crown starts from $4,500, and an implant bridge is quoted after your 3D scan. You’ll get a written quote after your consultation. Payment plans are available.

Frequently asked questions
Not always. Where teeth are missing side by side, two implants can often support three or four teeth.
Usually, yes. It depends on bone levels and whether any teeth need to come out first.
You can keep wearing it while the implants heal, and we can often adjust it to fit around them.
Any surgical or invasive procedure carries risks. Results vary between individuals, and a consultation is needed to confirm suitability.
